The Wonderment

By  Rosemerry Wahtola Trommer

Rosemerry Wahtola Trommer's newest collection, The Wonderment, is an invitation to see the extraordinary within the ordinary. Inspired by her father's final words—"From our birth...to our death...the wonderment"—these luminous poems embrace joy, grief, love and loss with honesty, warmth and astonishing grace. Tender, life-affirming and quietly transformative, The Wonderment reminds us that wonder is always within reach.

"Rosemerry Wahtola Trommer writes with extraordinary courage and tenderness. These poems never deny grief or attempt to solve it. Instead, they show us how to remain open to wonder, carrying life's heaviest burdens while still being touched by beauty. A remarkable collection." - Deborah Alma, founder of the Poetry Pharmacy
